Dr. Clif Johnson
Senior Pastor
 
Clif has been on staff at GMBC since 2005, & has served as Senior Pastor since 2008. He is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas who loves reading, traveling, Yankees baseball, & being around people. He met Kristi while attending Central Baptist College in Conway, AR. They married in 2001. Kristi was raised in St. Louis & is passionate about being the wife & mother God has called her to be. Clif & Kristi have three children: Jack, Sam, & Sophia. Clif is a graduate of Central Baptist College in Conway, AR., & Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN. He also earned his D.Min from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Jimmy Walker
Administrative Pastor
 
Bro. Jimmy Walker is a native of Hope & serves as the administrative pastor of GMBC & the administrator of Garrett Memorial Christian School. Jimmy joined the ministry team at Garrett in June of 2012. He & his wife Julie have 5 Children: Judd, Adley, Nolan, Emory & Silas. He has a Master’s in Christian Education Administration from Pensacola Christian College. Prior to coming to Garrett, Jimmy served, for 10 years, as the high school principal & Athletic Director at Columbia Christian School in Magnolia, AR. His wife Julie serves as the financial manager for Evangelistic International Ministries.
Chris Vines
Youth Minister
 
Chris and Sidney came to Garrett Memorial in May of 2014. They were previously living in Fort Worth, TX where Chris attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chris and Sidney have been married since 2012. They have two sons, Carson and Elliott.  
Jack Daniels
Minister of Music
 
Jack Daniels grew up in Hope, AR & has been involved in music since he was a child.   He started a regional group called The Ambassadors with his father, the late Jim Daniels, in 1984.   He has also toured with The Martins, a well-known family trio.   Jack has been pianist & musical director for David Phelps since 2000.  He has also been the worship leader at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope, AR for six years.  In January 2016, he will start his 32nd year as a touring musician. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Southern Arkansas University with a major in Voice performance & a minor in piano.  He also holds a degree in Diesel & Heavy Truck Mechanics from Red River Vo-tech School (now University of Arkansas Community College in Hope).  Jack lives with Sunny, his wife of 16 years, & their six children.  They reside on a third-generation family farm in Bodcaw, AR where they raise grass-finished beef, poultry, lamb, free-range eggs, & fresh vegetables & sell their products through their on-farm market.
